I obviously have a problem going on in my tank, I have red slime everywhere. What would be the best thing to run to get all the excess nutrients out of my system. I know what the phosban reactors do, and what they are for. But I'm not too familiar with the zeovit, so if anyone is running zeovit and would not mind me checking it out let me know.

There are some great tanks here that are running Zeo but keep in mind Zeo is not just about the zeolite and the reactor. There are several additives that must be purchased and used.

Zeovit is the glorified carbon dosing system. Its really nice if you follow step by step procedure from the empty tank. It will cost a lot of money and dedication as you need to add somethings on daily basis.

If you just want to get rid of cyanobacteria, constant water change, watch what you feed, GFO, and carbon or purigen if you want better stuff, should be enough to take care of the problem. Its not a problem that you can get rid instantly, more like a battle. You need to be patient in this hobby.

I been having a cyano outbreak too, not bad but still there.
I started running my GFO reactor on Sunday, it does seem to be clearing somewhat.
I use a turkey baster to blow the sand and siphon. There was not as much yesterday and very little this morning.
