Yes, they're on baby brine shrimp. As soon as the shrimp hatch I'm feeding them rotigreen omega, make them even more nutritious for the baby clowns :)

How old are your eggs? Have they ever been opened?

Lol, patience - Still have no idea how 'snowflaky' they'll be :) Kinda seems to be a whole range from almost regular clowns to possibly premium snowflake.

Sell one to me at regular clown price, if i get lucky with a gem, that would be great, think of it like me funding your work.

Cat, looking good.
I can see you will have many premium snowflakes. Will take about 5-6months for them to fully develop their snowflake white strip so dont rush sell any of them. I still dont want to sell my snowflake babies because of that reason.

Here's more of the setup I used - not saying this is the best way :) Just what I put together...

The larvae were kept in this black tub for the first week - with heater, airline, and clip-on lamp. During this period I fed them L rotifers:

After a week I moved them to a 10 gallon tank, with the same heater, airline, and lamp. All 4 sides were kept blacked out, the bottom was white so I could see to clean it:

The far back and side are permanently blacked out, the front and near side have the plastic held up with some magnets. That way I can pull it down to see inside better, and now leave it down as the larvae are older:

The tank - heater, airline, lamp - I put the eggcrate in perpendicular to the water flow in the tank. The clowns will rest in its squares when they want to, out of the flow. Its like a little hotel for them :) Ignore the rock tied to the airline, lol, I didn't have any suction cups at the time to hold the airline down. The airline is kept right under the heater to keep the heat dispersed well.

I keep a bucket of new saltwater at the same temp as the larvae tank next to it for any needed water changes:

And a simple tube to vacuum up the floor of the tank and keep it clean:

And last but not least, my brine shrimp hatching area. The liter bottle is for the currently hatching batch, when they hatch they're moved to the left container and the brine shrimp that were in that container are moved to the right container. The larger clownfish like the larger (day old) brine shrimp. I feed the brine shrimp rotigreen omega so hopefully they're a little more nutritious for the clownfish. The coffee filter is used to strain the brine shrimp out of their water before feeding.

It'll be a lot cleaner when I get a little time to set up my larvae station, and hopefully begin raising my green mandarin larvae :)

Tell you what, give me a few weeks to get them on prepared food and you can come pick one out :) (with a few exceptions, lol, I'm already getting attached to some)
