    Does anyone else hate ..

    ... it when people are talking about soft corals and somehow include LPS in the conversation? Hammers, torches, frogspawns, Fungias, etc are all hard corals. Yes, they have big fleshy polyps that might sway with the water motion, but they do have a skeleton, which means they are hard corals...
