my mp40 keeps falling down after a few minutes/hours. I opened it, cleaned it, and soaked it for a day, no change.
I don't see any visual cracks or anything wrong in the wet side assembly, and I just feel a lot of friction/resistance when trying to rotate it by hand.
Either way, looking for a...
I was just there yesterday, the owner said it's been open for 6months.
I haven't been to many LFS here in Houston, so I don't necessarily have the best reference point.
It looked very clean up front, had a decent selection of fishes(most looked healthy), and few corals in the back as well...
I have had it for about a month now, I am not sure why it would be scared. Will have to look more into it, it eats well, goes for algae all the time that is clipped.
Maybe the reflection?
I have dried nori clipped, its usually gone within a day.
I think the blue tang does seem to be, but It's hard for me to get a good feel for what is considered high.
It's a relatively new tank, and the fish were quarantined before addition; where would parasites come from?
Should I do a water change, or what should be my line of defence here?

The rest are in acceptable range.
I have one for my pizza maker, I've been using that to verify tank temps are accurate. Never thought of checking the pump. good point
ac definitely turning on less, but ambient temps are still around the same. You do have a good point about AC because although the tank is in the living room...
Hello people!
As the title states, my tank temps are rising without any possible explanations. The tank itself is FOWLR for now.
The equipment inside the sump is vectra m2, red sea rsk-900 and reefmat.
I was around 76-77 the first few weeks, but past few days I have noticed a reasonable...
Off-topic, I mixed some salt water on Friday evening.
I left it in a container with no powerhead. Would it be okay today?
Once I opened it, there was a certain stench to it. Not sure if that is normal or not?
Thanks Cody! That is encouraging news.
I was going in circles trying to figure out why things aren't trending in one direction, or the other.
Much appreciated!
Small update, I thought the cycle was finished weeks ago, but I guess that wasn't the case.
About 2 weeks ago I tested, and my Ammonia was .25-.5ppm nitrites .25ppm and nitrates 5-10ppm.
I figured that could be because I added a small CUC(assuming my cycle had concluded) and some might have...
