10G on a glass top desk? (1 Viewer)

I have a glass top computer desk thats probably 1/4 inch thick and tempered. Do you think it can support a 10G fully stock?

I don't know if I would trust 1/4". With a 10 gallon your looking at close to 100 pounds.

Can you place the tank over the main support for the glass top? I'd say it would probably be fine if you did it that way. I might be leery of doing it otherwise.

What brand desk and what model?

I dont kno the brand. Got it from frys for 100 bucks so im guessing not the highest quality. I was thinking it be ok bc its not 100lbs at one point but distributed over several others.
