You will be missed lil buddy we went through alot, thanks for scaring my family the first time you lept out months ago. When my decorator crabs became a nuisance you took care of them for me. You were just plain cool. You died doing what you love; most chasing feeder shrimp and trying to get out of the tank... this time you succeeded doing both, sorry I was still asleep when it happened. :cry:

Eggcrate proved to be no match for an eel on a a mission. :cry:

i feel bad i wasn't there when he struggled for water... we are all sad, even my wife who is deathly afraid of things that slither.
I won't be replacing him though, I was planning on giving him to horseystripe for his FOWLR so that I could put some shrimp or crabs in my tank. I guess he would rather die than leave me ;-) :cry:

Sorry to hear about that. How long was he out of the water? I was reading on a few websites about eels that were out of water for hours, that appeared dead, but were revived once put back in the tank. Even ones that were shriveled up eel jerky.

???? yeah he's dead now I am sure cause i found him this morning and tossed him then went to work, thanks thomas...but i did put his "corpse" in some water just in case... :)
