Well here it goes.... I have been hesitant to start up this build....and even more so, post the steps....I do after all......do this all for personal enjoyment.... .

Starting this build with a used 120 gallon 4 x 2 x 2 ...with dual overflows....Aquarium is in my garage at the moment getting a vinegar bath ......tank is in like new condition....

The tank will sit on an all metal powder coated stand...... I've attached a picture of the way is will be returned to me.....powder coated flat back...with white panels on back and base...... only.. stand will be wrapped in magnetic mahogany. ...skinned pannels...

I will post pictures of the stand when I pick it up....

So that this isn't a cluster of equipment list.....I'll post the build..... as It comes along....

To keep thing curent .....Ben at bao ....is dropping off my new sump and ato.... at fjw this friday...the 21st....then I gotta wait for second delivery for my dosing containers.... So I'll get that new stand and sump shot posted when I get them under the stand....

I also just was lucky enough to purchase....a huge custom Vida bonsai rock ceramic sculpture..... To be my center piece .... For all my collection of Millepora .... soon to call home..... I'll get the first round of pics up as soon as I can....

Thanks for looking.... coments and advise welcome.......also if you got equipment you recommend ....Im open to suggestions..

THANK you all in a Advance. ........

Sweet set up man. I'm doing a metal stand next time.

Regardless of how clean your water is vida rock starts to get algae for some reason. I had couple of nice pieces in an all SPS tank and they looked bad after a year.

Thanks guys.....I'll keep you posted....got lots of good stuff coming.....and pending post.....

As far as this Vida rock goes..... it's only going to be one large bonsai. .,... and I'm only using it for a milli tree... I'll set it up to be removed to clean....nothing permanent... I got an unbelievable deal on it.... I could have never affored it ..otherwise. ..this stuff is super exspensive.... the bansai alone was over a 400 dollar structure.... and when you see it in person ...it's unbelievable..... and amazing.....20" tall ..and 24" at the base.... so in this 24" inch tall tank with only large tonga BRANCH

.....it should stand apart from the rest...in aquascape....

Triggerman..... when I started in my reef adventure ....I purchased a 14 gallon jbj nano cube from (g****) on marsh....that's when I first saw it...but the company would never respond....I eventually gave up...after being told I would get a response in a few days..... but two weeks ago...I walked into a lfs...and there she was..... available without a price tag.....waiting for me.... I believe that it came from another marsh member but I'm not certain .....bought it from Cinco ranch aquariums in katy....but it was a once in a lifetime deal I'm sure...........thanks

Very nice. Keep an eye on that stand. Looks like it only has 4 leg screws. That's a whole lot of weight on a total of 4 sq inches. Fine on carpet but if you have hardwood or tile, id look into placing furniture mover pads under each leg to spread out the weight more
