So its been 17 days since my percs laid eggs last (and the ate the), how long does it normally take for them to lay again the second time? It is possible that they have already laid and ate them again but I'm not sure.

If your temp stay at 80-82 F all the time during winter, they will lay another batch very soon(4-5days). U have to feed them alot too like 4-5 times a day in order for them to lay faster.
Most of my pairs stop laying eggs during winter time because i dont use a heater.

Thanks, My water temp is always around 81 with the use of a heater, and I feed them about 3 times a day so I will try to step that up a little.

For mine it was exactly 14 days between batch #2 & Batch #3 but it was exactly 4 days between Batch #1 & Batch #2 and now it is going on day #6 waiting for them to lay Batch #4. Tank temp has been like 77-79 since we very seldom use the heater inside the apartment and I do have two small heaters on the tank set for 79.

Still no eggs after 3 weeks now. Just wandering. I put a pot in the place that they laid last time. Do you think that the pot that I put in front of the glass that they laid on last time stopped them from breeding again?

I was thinking the same... I may remove it and just let what ever happen, happen
