With 17 votes I think we can make it official now.

Dennis do you want to take point on this? Let's pick a date and I'll add it to the calendar and we can start the planning phase.

If not Dennis, would anyone else be willing to run point on this?

We have a lot of interest and would like to pick out a date or multiple and start planning ASAP. Nick @ Oceanlife had an idea of hiring a "bus" to taxi members from one house to another. I think this could work out if we split the tour up by location on different dates and each host pick a time slot.

Also keep in mind that if there aren't many hosts in the same area, even just one host or two wants to they could set up their own time to just have people over for a couple of hours, maybe make a sign up sheet for food & drinks.

Oops, I never saw Mark's post.

I haven't been involved in the planning for previous tours but definitely willing to help out, Mark.
In the past we usually split up the tour by West, East, South, North.
Should we continue this? Looks like we have good interest in the tour but only 3 people willing to host so far.
I'll start a new thread calling for hosts and I guess see where that leads us.

Thanks Dennis, I agree, go ahead and post a thread to get hosts, split up by area. Then after that we can focus on getting votes from those group of hosts on dates and times that will work for everyone after that. I think this would be a good start.
