Had some day offs this week for the Thanksgiving week, and this all I've done - making videos of my reef tank :) I made these video with my iPhone5 - not the best quality video camera but not bad I think. Hope you enjoy them.
Some info on the tank: 220gal, SPS dominated, started in July 2004. Current lighting is two 400w Radium MH on the sides and a 72-bulb Cree LEDs pendant in the middle. This LED pendant made by Mike aka thereefranch last month. It used to be a 400W Ushio 12K bulb in the middle. Tank has 50 gal sump and 40 gal frag tank connected to it, old PM style skimmer, and dual calcium reactor.

Looking awesome Quoc, hadn't heard from you since Macna, didn't I see you walking out with some goodies from the raffle? Amazing to see those angels in with all the corals.

No, didn't win much at the raffle. Spent $100 on raffle ticket and won only a bucket of Red sea salt - so i guess i got half of my money back:) The nice prizes I got from the MACNA was my Wyoming White clowns and the gold hammer that I purchased.

Amazing video Q.

So far how are the corals are reacting towards the LEDs. What are the LED combos (white versus blue). I'm running 400s and in a near future I want to do all LEDs.

John, it may be a little early to make a judgement on this new lighting (only a little more than 1 month). But so far it's not bad - more positive than negative.

Pros:
- much lower heat than the 400w MH, and hence less power consumption
- the corals look more florescent in person, especially the LPS look really nice. Fishes also look nicer under LED blue, especially the anthias and angels. SPS like lokani look really nice under LED since it has more of that purple florescent.
- the dawn/dusk/moon light options make the tank look pretty cool. My family and guests really love the look of the corals under LED!
- most of the SPS directly under the LED doing ok so far. Some has different color developed on them like my Upscale blue polyps suddenly showing pink tips when they have always been purple tips. The Naka pink lemonade also develops more pink tips than under the MH. The bottle brush or smooth skin types SPS seem to look better under LED.

Cons:
- Some SPS don't like it or got shock. My pearl berry colony and Tyree pink lemonade right under the LED RTN'ed within the first week or 10 days. When i moved that Tyree colony to the frag tank, the RTN stopped. Another Tyree pink lemonade colony on the right side on the tank under the 400W Radium is doing fine, so i concluded the RTN of the other colony has something to do with the LED.

-The red planet colony under LED looks deep red in person. However, when I made frags of it and moved to the T5 lighting, I realized the red is not as bright as it used to be under the MH. Maybe it's still a little shocked.
- To me, the most annoying thing about LED is that the royal blue make it hard to take pictures or record video since everything will look too blue and dark. I did try to lower the blue and color bulbs intensity down really low like 30% and the white to 100%, but that blue tint is still there! I probably need better video or picture editing softwares to edit the blue out of the pics/video :)

My LED bulbs combination is 48 blue, 12 white, 12 colors (red, green, blue, cyan,amber..). Right now i have the blue and color at 100% and white at 50% during peak time. May start increasing the white intensity soon.

Again this is still early to make conclusion, the corals may need a lot more time to adapt to the new light. At least I have no major losses so far except a few SPS piece; so no big deals. Hope this helps.
