Thanks all! I have had to change my aquascape 3 times now, but I think I finally have it pretty well setup. Karen, my wife now wants to add a jawfish after seeing how cool yours were!

That would be cool, but I'd worry about your brittle star with them. Even if the brittle star doesn't eat them, it may freak them out too much to have it in the same tank. It took one of our three jawfish a complete month before he came out of hiding, and we don't have anything very agressive. BUT.....if you're going to start stocking fish, it would be best to put the jawfish in first :)

I think our pistol shrimp would definitely be an issue. He has the run of the tank right now and in the afternoons gets pretty active! I don' t think the jawfish would appreciate him trying to take over their home, so they might be something we just have to put on the wish list.

We have a pistol shrimp that pretty much runs around the tank at night, but it doesn't appear that he bothers the jawfish at all. He's got his favorite spots and a little trail built going from rock to rock. At night the jawfish are hidden away in their burrows. The pistol seems more skittish than anything, so I really don't think that would be an issue.

Cool.........it would be easy enough to move the brittle star to the sump or find him a new home if we decided to try a jawfish then!
