I have found these 2 stores to be a treasure trove of water supplies...

Both my holding tank and mixing tank came from here...

http://www.tractorsupply.com/

and although I haven't bought anything from them because their prices tend to be higher ...

Keep in mind the barrels and such are not always on the website but they do carry them in the stores. Just call them and they are always easy to work with.

There is a place that sells used plastic containers in Bacliff. They have some that have had stuff in them that you don't want to use, but I have bought one before that was used for rootbeer syrup. Cleaned it up and it was just fine. I don't know the name of the place, just that it is on 146 in Bacliff. Hope that helps. Next time I am down that way, I will try to see if I can find a number or maybe it is enough info to look it up. Maybe there is someone on the site that knows more about it than I do and can offer up more info.

If you have any home brewing supply stores in your area they will usually sell your their empty plastic 55 gallon drums. The nice thing these drums is that they are used to store food grade material. The ones I got at our local store even had the gallon marking on the barrel. I think I spent 10 bucks for one.
