I can't find the 911 thread so I am posting this here.... I have a major issue and need immediate assistance.
My return pump died on me and we tried to hook up another pump and now the pipe is leaking from the return bulkhead area.

I can't do much because of my arm right now and I need help to get this leak to stop. If anyone can come by and help I would greatly appreciate it.
I am off of Kirkwood and Memorial Drive - I10 West area.

Thank you
Mary Williams

Are we talking scheduled 40 or 80?

Is the tank drilled from the back or bottom?

You should be able to hand tighten both types of bulkheads.

You may need to support the return pipe and get it back plumb again if it moved and your tank is drilled from the back.

If the pipe isn't completely plumb, it will put the bulkhead in a bind sometimes and throw off the seal.

I know you can't use your arm right now, but just getting some thoughts out there.

The tank is the duel mega flow tank from Aqueon. David came by that night and helped us. And the new return pump will be here Saturday and I go in on Thursday for my shoulder surgery.

Glad you got it taken care of Mary. If I would have seen this would have come by. There is truly no more passionate/knowledgeable service/tech/coral/fish lover then David Raines..
