Anyone have any experience with these fish? Are they pretty hardy? Is $180 a good price?

Currently have a Yellow and Powder Blue tang, 2 Onyx clowns, a Copper Band and 7 bar gobies. I'm also about to add a Bariene Tang.

My thoughts are the powder blue will make short work of the Achilles goldrim hybrid unless you have a large tank or the powder blue is much smaller than the hybrid. $180 sounds about right.

I was gonna say, that will be 3 acanthurus tangs in the same tank. Taking a big chance in my opinion. It depends on the size of the tank but I have an Achilles and a Fowleri in a 400g and they go at it a lot. Not sure if 3 would distribute the aggression or not.

I had a purple tang, Achilles, and powder blue in a 100 gallon tub for 5 months. Only way that worked was careful introduction outside of the tub before putting them all together in it. Main thing to strive for is no established territories. They ideally should all be introduced at the same time and roughly the same size. If not able to do the same time, make sure the last addition is the biggest.

Hmm....so maybe I will hold off on the hybrid for now. I plan on upgrading to a larger tank in the next year or so and maybe can revisit then. The Bariene tang I am going to introduce in the next week once qt is done is slightly larger than the PBT. Should I be worried about him too?

Up to the temperament of the PBT but mine didn't bother with my dussemeiri tang and they are very similar to the Bariene.
