Wanting to get into acros what would be some to start with?

I find staghorn type corals are a little more hardy and tend to grow a lot faster. I imagine Bali Yellow Slimer would be the fastest growing acro on record, and pretty robust as well.

Digitata is pretty easy. Montipora also. Birds nest solid bet too.

Yea I got a digi,monti and stylo a while back and they’ve been doing well so figured I’d try some other type of sps

Not sure what part of town you’re in but I’ve got some (variety of acros, including Bali slimer) ready for a home. I’m near Kemah. Hit me up if you’re interested, I might be free later on Saturday.

I’ve got a few easy pieces as well if you’re in the northwest area. Bird nests, branching monti, millis, frogskins, torts and several other easy pieces.

I have some bubblegum digi, some monti caps and green slimer on the NE side, plus a tank full of acros.

I have a bunch of acros all doing well. My birds nest is growing like crazy. Plus I think they look great. I test the track twice a week and my dosing pump keeps my parameters from swinging wildly. So far I’ve had no problems with any of my acros except one with bleached out 2 days after it arrived. I got another one and it’s doing well
