I don't know if this is allowed, my apologies if not. What are used 125g Tall RR acrylic aquariums going for these days (60" x 18" x 24")? There are light scratches that I am not going to buff out, but everything I try to compare with is glass in Texas. Any opinions would be appreciated!

There are so many factors but if I have to guess; $550!

Yeah there are a lot of factors involved. I definitely would put the value less if it has decent scratches.

Most of the people stay away from acrylic due to scratching easily.

Which I find funny because it is so much lighter, has strength/durability, clarity is nice, and scratches can easily be buffed out. Ime just more advantages, but the cost can be frightful.

Agree...

The clarity is amazing and can be moves very easily. My tank was moved by professional movers but only two guys.

Even glass can be scratched very easily if you are not careful.

By value if your talking tank only and a 125 with scratches Im guessing $175 if reef ready.

As low as that sounds, I wouldn't pay more than that if it has scratches. No scratches then I would pay a little more. The acrylic itself is worth more than that, but the fact is, those smaller acrylic tanks just don't have the durability as a glass tank. They'll probably scratch again in the future on a whim.

I think it's a Clear For Life, perhaps SeaClear...can't remember. Either way I might just polish the scratches out since there aren't many and they are rather light. Personally I find acrylic tanks far more durable than glass tanks (I'd never purchase a tank over 100g in glass, but that's just personal preference). Thank you for the recommendations, I'll prob list on Craigslist since I've had quite a bit of luck in the past with it. Appreciate the responses.
