i found a fiber glass rod for about $5 + tax and about 3' long , at home depot it is about 3/8'' it work very good, the rock i used was too big, but it was all i had at the time, for a small tank i am going to use smaller rock next time. let you creativity run wild

Id love to do that, but id hate taking all my corals out and rearanging everything lol. not to mention my bubble tips that are relentless to move.

i got it in regal too...a cheap altewrnative that i used before is get a pack of plastic coat hangers and cut them up :)

err not that im aware of...best place to find out would be by posting in the chemistry forum on reef central...randy holmes farley tends to be excellent at telling that kind of info

i think I have heard about usingthose reflectors and cutting them to use just the fiberglass rod.. mushrooms.. are they in your tank already? any problems?

i've never had any problems,home depot was a lot closer than regal plastics too, some people make aquariums with fiberglass,
fish ponds,
custom made fiberglass tanks housing and growing corals,
