I’m happy to say after 3 months living with my uncle we were back in our house a week before Thanksgiving though much of the repairs were still to be done.

Prior to the freeze my wife wanted to park her car in the garage so it gave me an opportunity to clear one side and get my 50g inside and back up after the floors, walls and paint were done.

3 months into having the tank up and thru several generous friend reefers helping via the Harvey coral flood auction and donation of corals I now feel my tank is on its way.

Working on the house and this on the side has resulted in 2 positive achievements for me.

I was able to reuse my previous rock after bleaching them. I threw out the old sand and had to replace with new. I also had to purchase new power supplies for the power heads and some additional equipment and test kits due to the flood.

I made some modifications to the stand by adding a drop down shelf and changed from the noisy durso to a herbie style with external returns up the back.

Thank you all for making this possible.
