Here you go guys, found some pics.

You can find all these in the Gulf of Mexico on the Texas coastline:

Here's what can be found in the mats of Sargassum Seaweed.

A larger Sargassum fish. Check out these feet! Note the exact camouflage. You need to check the weeds well.

Sargassum Filefish

Damsel and butterfly

Another unknown sargassum fish

Wow! I didn't realize we had that much cool stuff down in our muddy ocean! I'm definitely down to make a trip out of it. I vote to make it a MARSH event.

Im all for a Marsh event. I think another thread specifically for Galveston species would be helpful. In the meantime, Im looking forward to getting my feet wet as a newbie tomorrow night!

Hmmmm....just saw that the I-45 will be closed off in both directions at bay area exit beginning at 9pm tonight. That may put a damper on my plans to head out tonight. If I dont make it I hope ya'll have a great time!

Thats fine I Understand just text me if you decide not to come so i am not out there all night. There will always be a next time. I did have a few extra min. on my lunch break and i got you a naked goby and four or five porcelain crabs if you want them. If not i will toss them in the main tank. I can always catch more.

Yep going tonight i guess by myself but hit me up when you want to go. I go collecting at least one a week mainly during the day for fish food ,but i always catch something extra for the tank. But like i said it almost spring time and that means tropical strays. If i catch anything i will update but until i figure this picture thing out someone may have to post them for me or just text me i have a few of previous catches.

So just got back and it was a good night, surf was flat with a slight wind. It was kind of slow for the peppermint shrimp only caught about forty (only kept ten)< but the molly miller blennies and glass minnows were every where. Caught about twenty or so blennies.(only kept two) didn't stay to long but it was fun. Hope to see some of you guys make it out there. Almost forgot tonight was perfect for collecting anemones you could see them perfect and pick the colors you want. Not use to seeing that many this time of year but i guess we have not had much of a winter. Didn't collect any but i should have. I did take few pictures though so maybe someone would be so kind as to post them for me.
