Has anyone worked with anglers and scorpian fish before? What do they eat that is readily available? Are they reef safe? And just general information about them would be helpful.

I had a scorpionfish and he ate anything meaty. He was awsome and was like 8 inches long. Sadly after 6 months i lost him due to an eye infection. Here is a pic...

They don't swim well to be in a full blown reef tank.

Also they will eat anything that presents itself.

I've had angler that eat a damsel about 3x the size. It took him 10 days to digest. Feeding wise I was able to train them to eat frozen shrimp. You start off with live ghost shrimp and gradually they'll accept frozen ones. My scorpion leaf fish I have now is eating frozen shrimp too. He is so tame I can't clean my tank w/o him following my hand constantly...never got stung before.... 8)
