I've run
Foscam / Amcrest - Generally decent, but not great at anything. A lot of false positives. DVR functionality is horrible, but you can FTP to them and grab whatever.
HikVision - FW was annoying, and it kept breaking email notifications but the picture quality was the best.
Wyze - Cheap and works great, but not outdoor rated. It's my preferred indoor one. Pretty easy to use.
Ring - Preferred outdoor one, not too many false positives. Not the best quality but ease of use is amazing.
Really the thing comes down to your internet quality. Also if you want to store locally to a server down there you can do zoneminder or blue iris and then you only need to connect to that. That'd be what I'd do if I went with the Foscam / Amcrest / Hikvision. Another thing is a lot of them are made by the same companies. I can't remember which at the moment.
Personally if I was adding new ones it'd be Ring or Wyze.
