I have yet to hear of anyone having any success keeping a moorish Idol. Have you? When I say success I mean having one successfully for over 5 years for example.

I was told a mandarin goby was hard to keep. I've kept one for 5 plus years. I know someone who had one for a few years. I guess five years is long enough for me. I enjoy the challenge I do appreciate your questions and comments

I ran into a reefer at my LFS who only kept moorish idols and had been doing it over 15 yrs or so. She said they enjoyed picking at strawberries and banana's. I had never heard of this before so I decided to try it in my own tank and sure enough, my tangs loved the Strawberries
