I had 2 but because of how tight it focuses the light it would not work over my 6 ft tank... currently i have 2 open reflectors and it lights the whole tank but the 2 lumenarcs wouldnt quite light the middle there was a major shadow.... HOWEVER the light produced was noticably brighter with that reflector... so if I would have gotten 3 it would have been great. I plan to use one over a 30" x 30" cube one day whenever I get around to making it.

Ted I am using those reflectors. My tank is 4 foot long x 3 foot wide, and 2 foot tall. I had to cut them down a bit because they were too tall for my canopy. You are more than welcome to come over and check mine out.

I'm thinking about using 3 over my 72x36x24. Height shouldn't be as much of an issue for me.

How is the coverage front to back ?
