Haven’t seen much about them the last few years. Are they still around? I like the PVC bottom option they had.

anyone have one of their tanks? How’s the quality lately?

looking to do an 84” x 40” x 27” in the future.

thanks

Build quality is top notch (as of 2 yrs ago anyway). They made our 450g office tank after GlassCages struck out twice.

Nice. Who did you order through? Did they do a steel stand? Pvc bottom?
I think we ordered it directly from them.
Yes on the pvc bottom, No on the strand. Stand was made in house by our guys.

AGE makes a good tank. I’m a Planet Aquarium guy though because I know and have confidence with the builder/s and they have all lasted me w/o any failures and the build quality is dang good for what you pay for. They do seam protectors too which keeps your magnet from tearing up your silicone seams. They’re obviously not Reef Savvy quality, but they don’t take 1 year to arrive at your house either and they’re not triple the price tag. Your Acropora should compensate for any small imperfections. :)

I have an AGE with a PVC bottom. I picked it up 2nd hand from FishGallery. I tried purchasing direct from AGE but they pointed me to Fish Gallery.

That may have been what happened in our case too. Can't remember clearly. I know I dealt with a guy named Roger, but thats about it.

I just took delivery of my 400 gal with PVC bottom from AGE. Worked with Fish Gallery folks. I'd echo that it's not Reef Savvy quality, but I think it's very good value for the price and the steel trim was a selling point for me as well. Now I just need to finish the house around it...

That makes two of us.

Regardless of the special adhesive they use I don’t think pvc and glass is a good mix.

Agreed. I ripped a PVC BOTTOM out of a BAO custom tank. We replaced it with glass. I ran into some old silicone on that job, but I think it was good enough to hold w/o issues. We used RTV 108 I believe.
