So I found my dream tank this week. Picked it up today. 40x36x18. Gorgeous. Anyway long story short, put it in my bed thinking it would be a smoother ride than my bumpy trailer. Have bed liner from factory and neglected to notice the bolts in the bed. Well I saw them but figured they were lower than bed liner. Anyway I get half way back to my huge city (haha pun intended) and stopped to get gas. Looked in my bed and the bottom of the tank is cracked all over (see attached pic). Got home and figured out that the tank must have been heavy enough to compress the plastic bed liner and left tank sitting on four corners on these bolts. Well bumpy road and weight is what I figured did it. Cracks appear to have started at the holes drilled for return and overflow and spread all over from there.

So, anyone rebuild tanks? PM me please. Really wanted this tank. Rimless beauty she was and will be again hopefully.

Sounds like it's time for u to upgrade the overflow to an external/ ghost to take advantage of that 36 depth.

I happen to see the ghost/external kit at Oceanlife this afternoon.

And I'm sure if u give them a shout they can direct u to someone that can replace the bottom of that beautiful tank of yours.
