Hey guys my tank is getting delivered this Friday and I need some help getting it into the room its going into.

Good news is it goes on the first floor close the front door in my bourbon room. Happy to share a bourbon with anyone who would help.

Need to mention it is 470lbs

Moving tanks is tough, especially of that size, and a couple drinks isn't enough to make someone spend the gas, time, and energy to help. After one of our members watched their new tank slip and crash a handful of years ago by members, and her eating the thousands of dollars the tank cost in an instant, I would lean on your neighbors, closest of friends, or a reef company to move it. Trusting randoms from the community is not the best idea.

I guess things must have changed a bit during my hiatus with folks helping each other. That being said if there is a professional company that anyone would recommend I have no issues paying.

New tank so I think it has to be professionally installed to get warranty coverage.

I would help if you were closer to me. For big tanks, I'd buy some wood and build a simple frame and strap the tank to it for easier moving. Having the extra hand grip helps a lot.
