Considering I just put the money down on one, I figured i'd ask ~_^ I pick him up tomorrow from Neptune's.

I also met Jim, who apparently has a flatworm problem. I saw you hiding that bottle of liquid shame!

I had one 10+ years ago but it always nipped at clams and softies... I've also tried lemon peels and bicolors and had the same results. I don't recall any of them bothering LPS but I didn't SPS back then. I've given up on Pygmies/Dwarves.
I hope it works out for you because I think they are very beautiful and entertaining little fish.

Good luck!

Hey there. As I told you yesterday, I have one that has been in my reef for almost a year. It has never picked on any of my corals, or my clams back when I had clams. It has been a perfect tank mate.

Yeah, apparently I have a little flatworm problem. Pygmy_Angel pointed it out to me a week or so ago. I have been keeping an eye on it, and although it is not getting terrible, they are there and I need to get rid of them before they start multiplying exponentially and do become a problem. (Thanks for letting everyone know my shame :p)

I'm surprised your tank has flatworms because the last time I saw it, you had some pretty bad*** wrasses in there. Aren't sixline wrasses natural predators of flatworms?

I have not had a six line wrasse in my tank in quite some time. I did have a red coris wrasse, but I sold that to Pygmy_Angel a couple of weeks ago. Finally, my red tailed tamarind wrasse died earlier this week. I just did not remove the coris wrasse in time, and the Tamarind did not get much to eat and therefore was malnourished when I did get the coris out. The Malnourishment apparently took its toll. Even though he was eating, he still could not make up for a couple of weeks without food.

I am planning to try again, but in the mean time I will be using Flatworm EXit to take care of the flatworm problem.
