Hello, dear reefers, just wondering if any of you know what is that pink thing growing on my frag rock. It is hard to the touch. But doesn't look like coralline algae.

Just a wild guess, I wasn't able to zoom in close enough...but it looks like that is the skeleton of a coral you are using for your zoa polyp...could that coral be attempting to regrow?

It could be the coral coming back, or they could be foraminiferans, which are harmless filter feeders that don't grow much larger than that.
