I was wondering where I could get some? If you even can. I’d love some for a more diverse fuge and would be great snacks for my male lyretail Anthias he’s a big boy 😂

Come get some grass shrimp... They will breed in your sump.

You can also catch mysis here on the bay side with a pool net. They are a pain to separate, but worth it.

Re: Grass Shrimp - Then do you just manually move them up when you want to "feed"? Never tried Grass Shrimp but sounds low maintenance and worth it. Do they eat off the pod population though?

Depends on how you have your system setup... Mine just sucks them up in the return and spits the shrimp larvae into the tank when they hatch.

Most of what you see people call mysis are actually mysid's... Which is a stage of growth( baby shrimp) in a shrimps life cycle.

Mysis shrimp / opossum shrimp
Are a little more needy and kind of difficult to keep.

Yea I’ll def go with the grass shrimps I’m to lazy to deal with a low salinity tank. I’ll have to see when I can go to Galvaston, I do want to go before fishing season ends
