Especially because it looks like you have an iron issue, recommend you DO NOT route concentrate back into the barrel.

Perhaps I do not know exactly how the RO works. They say they reject 99% but then with a dual stage RO it says it only wastes 1.5:1 in water. Seems like both of those cannot be correct. If it is were the single stage RO with 3:1 that doesn't sound like 99%. Perhaps I just read the 99% somewhere and it is not accurate. It seems to be the rejected water would be higher in TDS and if it is run through again the reject rate would be even higher and waste even more water.

Since I am on well water I am not overly concerned with waste water....only cost is the electricity to pump it up since I already took a beating for the cost to drill the well. And that waste water helps feed my drain field. :)

Yes - the TDS level in the concentrate will be higher than the TDS of the feedwater.

The waste water goes down the drain. I didn't think about putting it back in the barrel....that might be something to consider.

The pump was pushing about 90 lbs when it was being fed directly from the faucet. Now it can only do 75 but I will take it. Have 120 gallons of water ready to go now and the tanks are full so I think it is working fine. We will see in the long run.

You don't want to run the waste line back into your supply. Over time the TDS will creep up on you and you'll be chewing through membranes and DI resin like crazy.

If you add a second RO membrane in a water saver configuration your product water/waste water ratio will be much better. To do this, plumb in the second RO filter so the waste line of the first feeds the second membrane. Then use a Y fitting to join the two product water lines together before they go into the DI stages. The waste line off the second membrane can be fed to a rain barrel or something like that for watering plants instead of straight down the drain. This will nearly double your filtered production while keeping your total usage the same. I would also recommend setting it up so you can purge each membrane separately with a couple valves and t-fittings. All this can run off the same booster pump you already have. I have two 150GPD membranes configured for water saver and I can easily make 350+gallons a day. For filtering efficiency at 75psi I'm getting a 98-99% rejection rate. My source water averages at between 180-215 (Houston water) and the system outputs 2-3 TDS product water before going into the DI stages. I then ran the waste line out to a rain barrel that I use for watering plants.

Given your apparent troubles with iron, I recommend you DO NOT run two membranes in series. Feel free to give us a call for specifics.
