I keep trying to tell people that this guys work is next level. Haven’t seen anybody come close to beating his designs.

Beautiful work!

I would love to make one with my cnc router but I just don’t have the space. To save space, I put my apex in a ziploc bag and floated it in my sump. Saves a lot of room! However, my apex doesn’t seem to be communicating with my WiFi recently. Wonder what happened.

On a more serious note, I wish I was more artistic with design software. I can make mechanical parts but I just don’t have many ideas to make things decorated better.

These days I want accessibility with a control box or tower. This is very hard to accomplish with limited space. Being able to access not only the front, but also the back is key. Those pumps will need to be cleaned and soaked. Not only powerheads (vortech wet-side users), but also the skimmer and return pumps. Trying to UN-snake wires is a pain in the rear and quite frankly I’m not doing it anymore. Equipment must be cleaned or it’s twice as likely to fail. Being able to unplug quickly and reinstall will increase your chances of actually cleaning the equipment on time instead of waiting a year. I’m not sure how I’ll do this new system, but I’m definitely thinking about easy access which will probably require me to build another stand as much as I hate to do it. This is the final tank!!!!

Elder did the work for Ryan at BRS and he’s still working on some things.

I find it hilarious that he went with Ecotech dosing pumps rather than neptune dos...wish I had done that!!!!

They’re good for dosing. Although, people keep telling me they are loud and wear out when you use them at higher rates with a Calcium Reactor.

I’ll probably get another Kamoer unless something better comes out.
