Beauty is in the eye of the beholder!

Most people would not think the things in our aquarium are "beautiful", but we seem to think so.

LOL :)

I always thought the saying was "Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder!"

Well as usual I have a 3 day weekend and it's filled with everything but what I wanted to get done. LOL

Anyway. I connected my controller to my router and accomplished the following...

1. Recognized my network and connected with static IP.
2. setup email & txt messagine
3. setup my router and created static IP address to access controller from anywhere on the net. Confirmed access by going to my mom's house and logging in to controller.
4. Upgraded Firmware to 4.05.
5. setup to clock to my timezone, 12h instead of 24, etc.
6. Setup Android widget on my phone to monitor tank and controller.

That was all fairly easy to do and I didn't run into any problem. Now I just need to physically install it on my tank and start programming for my various components.

Cool thanks for the tip SuperRay. I'll read into it. I have to run to my moms for dinner with Family and cousins in town. Hopefully I can start installing later this afternoon.

Since I don't have my probes connected yet the controller is registering a temp of 20.7. I keep getting txt alarms stating my temp is <75 then ON.

So cool! :D
