Sponges, I notice them earlier this week and now my sump is covered with them and a few starting in the tank?
DO they stay are should they go? The sump is due for a major cleaning and do not want to destroy good things.

Thanks for your help!

Fighting a bit of brown stringy algea and need to clean the sump, Should I try to save the sponges?

great... i wiped several of those clean, I thought they were nothing. thanks for the info.

sign of a fairly mature system. not a bad thing, filter water as others have said. you can scrape them off if they get in your main tank. if they are in the sump/fuge, just leave them.
