I just wanted to share this with everyone. This has to be one of the most sweetest Millepora's I have ever seen. If anyone here has something like this let me know. I have cash...............

This was a special order coral from reefer maddness. I am on the waiting list for one of these bad boys. The only thing is they cost around $350-400. I couldnt get the collectors name but I am working on buying a frag as we speak. If its not to much. The best one I have ever seen was blood red with blue tips. It was about 6 years ago and the guy paid $500 for it. Not a bad price for such a rare item. I did however pick this nice piece up today and should get it tomorrow.

I hope it lives and the colors remain the same...........

I am just happy with common acros and paying off my credit card at the end of each month. :D

rhane, excellent choice! Thats going to be a nice piece! Dont worry about the coral not making it. If it doesnt, RM will give you every penny back without any questions. They have the best service out of any online dealer even though I am sure you are more concerned with keeping this beautiful piece than losing your money. Im excited for you and let us know how it goes!

One other thing... I have noticed that most yellows turn green.. so that piece for $350 at teh very top would be a dissapointment if it did change colors. The one u bought has more potential in my eyes!

c'mon Tom!
You know you really really really want that exotic acro. You never know, it might just RTN on you in a couple of hours after aclamating it. But it would be the thrill of the gamble that would entice you! :D

Man, I like the second picture a lot more anyways. But I'm not an acro geek and don't really know the difference. Just seems to have more blue, darker blue and less white. IMO

The top one is a Millepora and the bottom one is a Valida. The millepora is very hard to find in those colors and the Valida is just hard to find. I do have a massive bright green Millepora thats 16-18" across now. It use to belong to Ricky T. It's under a 400W MH and growing like a weed. You would have to see it to believe it. 30 more colonies and my tank is back to normal.
