what the best technique.......i have a bully twin spot I want to get out................

With a twin spot I'd probably say a trap. I doubt it'll come close enough or stay in position long enough for a net. Don't feed the tank for a couple days before you want to try using the trap. If possible put the trap in during these two days to let the fish get accustomed to it. On the 3rd day, put some frozen cubes of food as far back in the trap as possible. This has worked pretty well for me getting troublesome fish out of my tanks. I caught my damels, and a neon dottyback this way.

They're usually made from acrylic with some sort of sliding door you control with a string in the front of them. Some of the stores will rent them to you supposedly, although I don't know which ones.

I got that little SOB........first try........he is always a hog, so he was the first and only to enter the trap.
