Best Houston area stores for supplies (1 Viewer)

Ok guys, been out of this for a while and found a deal locally (Beaumont) that i couldn't pass up getting back into this. Long long ago in a town far away lol...anyway, i have no local shops. I had a grasp on Houston stores several years back as for lots of supplies and good prices. I try to support local first before going on-line. Anyway, I want to come over on Sunday (tomorrow) and get some stuff i will need. Power heads, salt, top off parts, and lighting. Anyone point me to some good places? Even Baytown if there are any there...it is closer. I used to shop a bit at City Pets...not sure if they are still around. Always seemed to have what i was looking for. Anywhere else...or is this still a good stop?? Thanks for any input.

check out our sponsor section for some of the local stores. As mentioned FJW is great, City Pets is still around and has the largest dry goods section at competitive prices. I don't know any closer to you.

FJW is pretty much a "one stop shop" now. Always find what I'm looking for at a great price.

Cath, I carry dry rock up the wazoo. Getting a new shipment in Mon or Tues that includes man- made rock (all my rock is from Fiji currently).
