Anyone else running N/P=Reducing Bio Pellets in a reactor?

I noticed that the output on it was not flowing into the skimmer area of the sump. I then noticed the reactor and what looks to be mold. Anyone know what could have happened?

What kind of flow are you running? I've experienced in the past that if its newly setup that it will slime up if you add too much.

Just two thoughts

It is bacteria, the pellets feed nitrate consuming bacteria, that is how they work. May need to check the reactor occasionally to make sure the pellets stay at a light tumble and don't get clumped together.

Thanks, they are tumbling real good and are not stuck together. When I noticed this, the flow was barely coming out as the reactor was clogged up. The pellets were not tumbling. I guess it built up so fast it clogged up.
