Does anyone have, have pic's, or know where I can find a blasto? I just saw one on NANO Reef, and it is amazing! I WANT ONE!
Below you can see two. An orange/green and a purple/red.

I believe the one Kenny has is red with green centers. It's not the knock-out red like some you see, but it's still a nice piece. I'm looking for some really cool colored ones myself, but they're usually pretty pricey.

Al,

I purchase a nice big frag from FishRanch II a couple of months back. I actually thought it was some mushrooms because they were all closed up so I couldn't tell. It was in the clearance tank for $9. To my suprise when they did open up there were about 9 polyps that look and are doing awesome. Mine are only green & purple so it doesn't look as nice and colorful as the one you have in the picture but still nice nonetheless and a real bargain too :)

SPS and zoanthids can look night and day different under better lighting. Seems to me that most LPS don't under go a lot of color change. Anyone had like a dull blasto or candycane really color up under better lighting?

Some corals will look better after a while in a tank because they absorb and incorparate different strains of zoanthelle than they have in the wild.

Well, I met Kenny tonight. I saw the ones he had, but decided not to get those. I did make a nice few purchases tho. Picked up a foot Hammer. Really nice Purple/green. I also got a very healthy flower pot. Quite large pieces on both of them, and Kenny had a great selection. I will be going back..... after getting a Marsh membership.

I am still looking for my Blasto tho. Anyone having other leads, please let me know.

There's a blasto at Global that I saw yesterday. They wanted $45 for it. It's the purple/red color. The lights may not have done it justice though.
