That seems high! Never seen a jawfish priced that high... then again, never took interest until this thread. The blue-spotted must be a rare one.. aren't there the yellow-headed jaw for much cheaper w/ same personality.

Actually blue spots used to be one of thos Holy Grail type rarieties in the trade. The area where they are collected was closed or unavailable and for a while if you got one you paid HUNDREDS for it. See this article for more info on this cool fish..

i like the pearly jawfish too if thats what you are referring to.

i think they have one at Fish Land

and those only run about 15 - 16 bucks

but blue spot over pearly anyday.
