When I look at sites like zoomania, I see the most wonderful colored zoos.

I would really like to add some to my collection but I never see them locally. I can mail order, I just like supporting the locals as much as possible.

Has anyone ever seen nice colorful zoo frags at the local stores? If anyone on the board might have some frags of some really brilliant colors, prefer purples or blues, I am interested.

Why does it seem there is always better stuff online than locally, or is it just me?

I have found alot of zoa's at the LFS that looks... eh decent in the store then I get them home and give them a few weeks and its like wow that’s a really nice one... sometimes it works the other way though :)

Im not really sure why one can never find the truly awesome zoa's at the local stores.. maybe they get bought up to quickly?

Zoa's also change colors DRASTICALY under different lights... online Zoamarts have the perfect lights to make them look there best so they may not look the same in your tank.. had that happen alot to me.

If you want the true blue Zoa's get ready to pay at the rear for them.

I bought a rock of them from coral farms of the sea for $60. I received a rock the size of a penny with 4 heads on it.

This site is usually good about letting you know what you get and Ive had great purchases from them in the past. Their selection of zoa's and palythoa are the best ive ever seen.

Global occasionally gets some really nice zoa's in. I hear city pets is good too.

Good luck in your search.

And for all you out there waiting for blue zoa frags...hopefully I will have some frags ready by summer.
