Even though I recently got rid of my crushed coral I did keep lots of live rock in my 125. My Fish like to hide at night when they sleep and makes the tank look nice and interesting. Yesterday while doing a partial water change I got rid of 2 ugly bristle worms... yuckkkk. Then I did some research on them. They are not firey red so have decided to keep them for now. They will help me keep my aquarium clean. Looking over 3 minutes ago I just saw one go bye.

bristleworm = good, fireworm=bad.

I like them, they are an important part of the cleanup crew. As a matter of fact I would love it if someone local would give me 3 or 4.

Ah, thanks. Fireworms looks pretty. My bristle worms are so small, like 1/4 to 1/2" at the most

I just cleared away the area where I usually feed my fish so the food does not get lost in the live rock so it is bare bottom there for the most part. Onward and hopefully forward.

Yep don't be alarmed about bristleworms, they're big helpers in a CUC.
@steveb I've got way more bristleworms than I would prefer in my clown breeding tank, I can easily grab 5 for you.

Wish I would have seen this early. I found a few 1-2" bristle worms last night and killed them. They creep me out.

I get their significance but they are just creepy! Stephen King could write an entire horror novel around them IMO.

I take the approach that if I don't see them, I can claim ignorance, but if I do happen to spot one during night feedings I pluck it, however typically only if it is over an inch long.
