Hey all, today I just noticed a brown semi hard film that is growing on a couple of my Zoanthids colonie.

I didn't think about it before but realized that it completely covered a fire and ice colony and killed it off and now it started on the colony in the above first picture. I was able to scrape most of it off with a tooth pick.

Does anyone have any idea what it could be and/or how to prevent it?
