Yep you made a decent choice. Cannot go wrong with BRS products ever, at any level from beginner to professional. Their stuff works. If you're new to RODI filters, just make sure to replace your sediment and carbon filters every 6 months or at a 10% pressure drop, whichever comes first. That should get you several years of life out of your RO membrane. I am pro-flush kit as well, as that can extend the life of your DI resin considerably. I used the same DI resin canister for 2 years before replacing it and I was still getting 0 ppm tds. I only replaced it because the color was exhausted and I know spent DI resin can leech things back into the water that may not register on the TDS meter.
Other important things are a 2 or 3 stage inline TDS meter with calibration fluid. They will lose calibration often and its never a bad idea to check it.
Pressure guage is also nice to have to know what kind of pressure you're dealing with. Mine broke months ago, but I know the pressure in that spigot has been 60 psi for years and never changed so I didnt replace the pressure guage.
Best of luck
