OK, I've dosed my tank with garlic and chemi-clean during the last week. I just did a water change. Everything looks fine. The fish seem happy, including the new Blue Tang.
The only problem is I have a HOB SeaClone skimmer (150 I think) and it's going nuts. Millions of microbubbles spewing into the tank. I know that this skimmer doesn't get the best reviews, but I've always had good luck with it. It did this for about 6 hours when I first got it. But now I'm afraid that all of these bubbles are going to stress everybody out. So I did a water change and changed the carbon filter cartridges. My question would be how long can the tank be without the skimmer? And how bad are all of these bubbles for the fish and coral?
Help!
