do calcium reactors work fast in a new tank or slow? i've had mine going for a month or so and my calcium is around 340... just wanna know if i need to change something or be patient...

It prob. will not bring the calcium up that much. A reactor usually will only keep the tank stable. I would add clacium to make the tank at 400-450 then use the reactor to keep it there.

I set my reactor to keep the alkalinity stable and then use turbo calcium to raise the calcium level when it needs it. I usually just use fresh ro/di water as topoff water but every so often I use limewater. So far every time I have tested parameters everything has been stable. It takes a little time and patience to get your reactor dialed in but when you do there isn't much maintenance you have to do to keep it working.
