I just watched the NOVA (PBS) show about the spread of Calurpa Taxifola throught the worlds oceans that they believe started in a home aquarium.
Interesting how they traced it. Showed a few Reef tanks too.

Should have noted, that its a pest that is near impossible to eradicate. And is poisonous or unedible to most animals. A true weed.

Where else did they say it was besides the Meditteranean and California??

All over carib. The funny thing was that the strain that they cannot control is a mutated species that they beleive could have come from the Monaco aquarium in France. It has been traced back to Germany from a public aquarium display.
