I want to get a RBTA like all the ones ya are getting. My lighting is only 2 x 55 in a 25 gallon. WIll that be enough and how hard is it to take care of a RBTA?

you need to have a well established tank with optimum paramaters. A BTA will require more lighting in my opinion although you may be able to get away with it. (I'm not an expert lol)

it's a very difficult decision to make, not only an expensive decision to make. I probably wouldn't recommend it for you, but then again you could make me eat my words if all goes well. But here's my rule of thumb.

I honestly ask myself, do I really feel that confident about my tank that I can raise this piece of coral yet? and can I afford to take that risk at X price?

Not until recently did I finally get enough confidence to buy another anemone (I bought my first, and only, anemone a few years back, It died a miserable beginner death :( ) As of late, my larger tank has been doing so well that I finally have the confidence to do it again.

My personal question right now is... Can I really handle a clam? i think so, but at the cost of 50-70? i dunno quite yet...

is that 2x55W pc's? In a 25 gal tank I would say sure. Thats enough light. I have a CSL 2x55Wpc for a sump light and I have an anemone that lives there and a gold stripe maroon clown as well. Both are very happy and eat a lot. BTA are very hardy and as long as you have good water quality, I would not worry to much about it. How old is your tank? If less than a year I would say no.

Wow, RBTA under PC? I was nervous about buying one with 2-250 MH on my 120/g. I wouldn't do it if I were you.

good luck with whatever you decide....
