Gotta love when you suddenly discover you're missing 2 otherwise completely healthy fish out of the blue. my large royal gramma and yellow have gone missing. I can't say i've seen them since i left town for 2 days last week, and i searched around the tank today for a jumper. I think i need to call 911.

I know some sand dwelling wrasses can disappear for a week or so, but i've never heard of a gramma or a tiny goby doing it. Anyone know otherwise or should i just assume the have become crab food.

Royal gamma are notorious for hiding for days at a time. Watchman goby's are the same. I had one that i was lucky to see once a week.

I got my last one through QT and she was doing very well. Released into the tank and haven’t seen her since. Guess she was killed. Not sure. Usually you see them at least a few times. Saw her go into the rocks and that was it.

i had both for several months. They were the first 2 additions to my new tank. They never missed a meal.

I have two black cap basslets and one is notorious for hiding - NEVER see it when I feed. I thought for sure the one that hides was a goner but started moving stuff around and found him - fat and angry that I was disturbing him.
