I'm not sure of the technical names for these blennies, but they are pretty hardy creatures. I had one that grew from 1.75" to 3.25" in my 20h. I found they aerent much of an algae eater, but they eat pods and are very willing to eat flake or pellet food.

Usually they fight if the tank isnt big enough, but they will usually ignore most other fish. I have him in a 3.5 gallon with a damsel and they dont fight at all. I know its way to small for him but im getting a bigger tank next semester.

No worry, you will catch lot of them when we go collect peps at night.

They are peps killer. They eat peps that is why when u go collect peps to see lots of them.

That one color is ok. I have caught many that had more color then that one but i put them back.

I caught three of them last year and put them in my 100 gallon. they ate my clam and nip at some of my corals. I have tried to catch them and get them out of my tank, but it is pretty much impossible. My opinion would be to use caution with these guys!!!!

I caught him around midnight.. he was just laying there on the rock.. I think the tied went in too quickly, he never really recovered and I woke up to him dead today :( (I also head a pep in a 3.5 gallon tank and he didnt even go for it at all)

I had one that would go after all my....less 'agressive' fish. About the only things he left alone were the clarki and my lawnmower blenny.

....think he was one of the few to survive the first storm/hurtricane too.
