Cheap Marineland Heater (1 Viewer)

I think the Marineland Heater that I got in my Frag tank doesn't work. The temp in my tank is 68.1 degrees. How cold can the water get before my frags start failing?

i had a package of corals come in with the water temp around 68-70... lost about 4 outta 12 frags.

of those they were all sps. all the lps made it thru.

I got the temp back up to 70 by floating a glass of hot water in there and refilling it when it cooled down. Took 4 refills. Now that the lights are on I am hoping it warms up by itself. So far I have good polyp extension on everything. I am crossing fingers.

I had two crap out on me in a weeks time. Had two resort to another since the cold this week. I will be using the box to return the other broken one.

i had two marineland heaters and they worked fine for. One finally broke on me after well ove a year. I would take it back to the store you got it from and get another one...

I almost bought one yesterday come to think of it. Luckily we're close to two hospitals and several huge shopping centers and we never got our power turned off.
